Australia’s biggest unseen environmental crisis

Deforestation is killing our koalas

With the current levels of land clearing—Australia is in the middle of a deforestation crisis. In Queensland alone, an area the size of the MCG is cleared every three minutes. That’s 850,000 hectares in the last three years.

Millions of native animals are being killed by reckless land clearing—including our national icon, the koala. In Queensland, almost half the population has been wiped out in the last 20 years.

Give hope to the koalas who still have a chance. Donate to end this crisis.
